Key Performance Indicator
What is a KPI?
A quantifiable measure used to evaluate the success of an organization in meeting objectives for performance.
A Key Performance Indicator (KPI) is a stable, measurable value that demonstrates how effectively a company is achieving key business objectives.
Unlike OKRs which map change and growth, KPIs are generally used to track steady-state 'business as usual'. If you think of your company as a car, your KPIs are the dials on the dashboard (speedometer, temperature gauge) telling you the health of the engine.
