Welcome to okr.mx

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of okr.mx's website, services, and features. By using our platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part, please discontinue use immediately.

okr.mx provides tools for managing calendars, tasks, events, and projects to help individuals, teams, and businesses stay organized. Our services are designed to enhance productivity across personal and professional contexts.

Your Account

Eligibility

To create an account, you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) and capable of entering a binding agreement. If you are creating an account on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf and bind it to these Terms.

Registration

When registering for okr.mx, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including a valid email address, username, and secure password. For paid subscriptions, you must also provide accurate billing details. You are responsible for maintaining and promptly updating this information to ensure it remains accurate and complete at all times.

Account Types

okr.mx offers various account tiers to meet the needs of individuals, teams, and organizations:

  • Free accounts: Access to essential features suitable for individual or casual use.
  • Team and Company accounts: Paid subscriptions that offer enhanced features, collaboration tools, and administrative controls tailored for professional and organizational use.

Some plans may be subject to usage limits or feature restrictions as described in the plan details. Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing cycle. You can manage your plan and billing settings through your account dashboard. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable.

Account Access and Control

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Sharing login credentials or granting others unauthorized access to your account is strictly prohibited. If you suspect that your account has been compromised, you must notify us immediately at Contact Us.

For team or organization accounts, designated administrators may have control over users under the same plan, including the ability to manage roles, access, and data. It is your responsibility to ensure proper configuration and supervision of such permissions.

Security

We take account security seriously, but ultimate responsibility lies with you. Choose a strong password, enable multi-factor authentication if available, and do not share your credentials with anyone. okr.mx will never ask for your password via email or phone.

okr.mx is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized use of your account due to your failure to maintain the confidentiality and security of your login credentials.

Account Inactivity

We reserve the right to deactivate or remove accounts that remain inactive for an extended period, in accordance with our data retention policies. Prior notice will be provided, and users will have the opportunity to reactivate their account or export their data before removal.

Account Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your access to the platform and any associated services will be revoked. Data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate operational purposes.

okr.mx also reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, failed to pay for services, or posed a security or legal risk to the platform or other users.

Compliance with Data Privacy Regulations

okr.mx is committed to protecting your personal data and complying with applicable data privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), where applicable.

  • Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information at any time.
  • Requests can be submitted through our Contact Page.
  • We respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

User Content and Rights

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, submit, or store on okr.mx, including but not limited to calendar entries, tasks, notes, files, attachments, project data, and user-generated metadata.

By submitting content to okr.mx, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, publish, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving our services. This license allows us to:

  • Render your content for personal use within the platform
  • Enable sharing with other authorized users (e.g., team members, collaborators)
  • Backup data securely and maintain service integrity
  • Create aggregated or anonymized insights for analytical or operational improvements

This license does not grant us ownership of your content and does not allow us to publicly share or commercialize your content without your explicit permission, unless doing so is required to deliver the intended functionality of our service (e.g., shared events or public calendars).

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to submit your content and that it does not infringe or violate the rights of others.

Platform Content

All materials made available through okr.mx that are not user-generated—including site design, features, source code, text, images, icons, graphics, and logos—are the property of okr.mx or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or exploit any platform content without express written consent from okr.mx. Any unauthorized use of platform content is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use okr.mx in a responsible manner and in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not use the platform to:

  • Upload or share content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or harmful
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or malicious software
  • Violate intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or contractual rights of others
  • Promote hate speech, harassment, or violent behavior
  • Upload or transmit spam, phishing attempts, or unsolicited communications

okr.mx reserves the right to take corrective actions—including content removal, account suspension, or legal reporting—if any misuse is detected.

Monitoring and Enforcement

While okr.mx does not actively monitor all user content, we reserve the right to review, remove, or restrict content that we determine, at our discretion, to be in violation of these Terms or applicable laws. We may also take appropriate action against repeated or egregious offenders, including suspension or permanent termination of their accounts.

We may also host or link to third-party content (e.g., embedded media, links, or integrated services). Such content remains the responsibility of the third party, and okr.mx does not endorse or assume liability for its accuracy or legality. If you encounter harmful or infringing content, we encourage you to contact us for review.

Your Responsibilities

As a user of okr.mx, you agree to act responsibly and in good faith while using the platform. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain accurate account information: Ensure that all personal and billing information provided to okr.mx is truthful, current, and complete. Update your details as needed through your account settings.
  • Use the platform for lawful purposes: You may not use okr.mx to conduct or promote any activity that violates applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
  • Respect others: Treat fellow users, collaborators, and support staff with professionalism and courtesy. Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory behavior of any kind is strictly prohibited.
  • Protect intellectual property: Only upload or share content that you own or are authorized to use. Do not violate copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights through content shared on the platform.
  • Follow our Terms and policies: Comply with these Terms of Use and any additional policies, guidelines, or instructions we may publish or communicate to you.
  • Report misuse or violations: If you encounter any misuse of the platform, harmful behavior, or suspected violations of these Terms, please contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Termination and Suspension

okr.mx reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to the platform, with or without prior notice, at our sole discretion. Situations that may result in such actions include, but are not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms: Engaging in conduct that breaches our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Unlawful or fraudulent activity: Using the platform for activities that are illegal, deceptive, or otherwise unethical.
  • Security threats: Actions that compromise the integrity, availability, or security of our services, including attempts to gain unauthorized access to accounts, data, or infrastructure.
  • Non-payment: Failure to pay applicable subscription fees after a reasonable grace period.
  • User-requested termination: When you initiate account deletion or request to terminate your use of the platform.

Before suspending or terminating access, we may attempt to notify users, particularly in non-malicious circumstances (e.g., failed payment). However, we reserve the right to act without notice where necessary to protect users, data, or infrastructure.

Upon termination, your access to the service and related content will be disabled. We may retain some data in backups or as required by law or legitimate business purposes, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, okr.mx and its affiliates, employees, contractors, licensors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Loss of data, revenue, business opportunities, or anticipated savings
  • Errors, service interruptions, or technical malfunctions
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your content or transmissions
  • Acts or omissions of third parties or external platforms
  • Decisions made or actions taken based on the output, features, or analytics offered by the platform

Our total liability to you for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of: (i) the amount you paid to use our services in the 12 months prior to the claim; or (ii) one hundred (100) USD if no fees were paid.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain types of damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full. In those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You acknowledge that you use okr.mx at your own discretion and risk. If you are dissatisfied with any part of the platform, your exclusive remedy is to cease use of the services.

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal obligations, or service offerings. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • Post the revised Terms on this page
  • Notify registered users via email or in-app notice, where feasible

By continuing to use okr.mx after any such updates become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you should discontinue use and terminate your account.
